Artisan Pages - Information

An artisan "demi-website" page can be developed for juried members of the Artisans Center of Virginia for the one-time, nominal set-up fee of $90.   This fully informational and marketable feature page may contain up to three large images of your work, biographical data and contact information. Future updates to your exclusive Artisan Page will be billed at an hourly rate of $50 per hour.

This special feature page is essential for Virginia Juried artisans who have not yet developed their own personalized website.   Use it in your marketing and enjoy the added visibility ACV can provide.

Artisans who have their own website will benefit from the added exposure ACV is able to provide through it's media outreach to the viewing public and extensive retail and craft industry networks.   Interested visitors can quickly see your work, read about what you do and then go to your web site for further information. Many ACV artisans now receive inquires from potential clients who have found their directory listing and Artist an Page on the web using popular search engines like Google.

If you are a basic or professional juried member interested in having an Artist an Page, you need to send three digital images of your work, biographical information in electronic format (such as Word documents or e-mail) and a check for $90 made payable to Artisans Center of Virginia. Digital images need to be in TIFF or JPEG format at no less than 480 pixels in the longest dimension. Images should be chosen for clarity of form, sharpness with good color and contrast and cropped tight so that they will also read well as a thumbnail image of 120 pixels in the longest dimension.
